This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all delegate registrations purchased for EMEA CHRIE 2026.
By registering for EMEA CHRIE 2026, attendees acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy, including cancellation timelines, refund eligibility, force majeure provisions, and travel-related responsibilities.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the official event registration email address.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method used during registration or through an alternative method communicated to the attendee by the organizer.
Special requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the event organizer, whose decision shall be final.
All administrative processing fees, VAT, and gateway charges (up to 10% of the total ticket value) are non-refundable. Consequently, any applicable refund deductions may amount to up to 10% of the total transaction value

Ticket transfers and delegate substitutions are not permitted.
The issuance of a visa is the sole prerogative of the host country’s immigration authorities and is entirely outside the control of the event organizers. As such:

Attendees may request a refund for the event period of November 8–12, 2026, if either of the following conditions is met:

The organizers, together with the host institution and EMEA CHRIE board members reserve the right to:

Should the event be postponed by the organizer, registrations may be refunded upon request. All such refunds are subject to a deduction of applicable payment processing fees, VAT, and administrative charges, amounting to up to 10% of the total ticket value.
Registrations will automatically convert to the applicable ticket type.
No refunds shall be issued due to pricing differences between in-person and hybrid/virtual formats.
Should the organizer cancel the event, registration fees may be refunded upon request. All such refunds remain subject to a deduction of applicable administrative and transaction processing fees, amounting to up to 10% of the total ticket value. Beyond this provision, the organizer accepts no liability for any additional travel or accommodation losses incurred.
The organizer shall not be liable for any third-party expenses, including but not limited to:
Approved refunds will typically be processed within 30–45 business days. To facilitate the transfer, the organizers (GD+), may require additional documentation, including full bank details.
