Submission Guidelines

EMEA CHRIE 2026 is offering an even further range of options for you to contribute to this year’s conference.

You may be a researcher, lecturer, student, industrialist, trainer or practitioner – we hope that you will find something that suits your needs to increase the body of knowledge in relation to hospitality, tourism, events and other industries.

What are my options?

Paper Guidelines

 

All papers should meet the following guidelines:

  • Maximum 3,000 words excluding the title, abstract and references
  • Abstract maximum of 150 words and a maximum of five keywords
  • Identify whether the paper is Theoretical / Empirical
  • Indication of which of the 7 tracks the paper fits into
  • Be written in English (UK or US spelling) and be free from grammatical and spelling errors
  • Be prepared in MS Word
  • At least one author of accepted conference papers is expected to make a 20-minute presentation.

  • First Call for Papers/Posters: 16 January 2026
  • Second Call for Papers/Posters: 20 April 2026
  • Registration opens: 20 April 2026
  • Deadline for Full Paper (not Abstracts)/Poster Submission: 5 June 2026
  • Symposium/Workshop Expression of Interest Deadline: 5 June 2026
  • Early Bird Registration Closes: 9 October 2026
  • Poster submission deadline: 5 October 2026
  • Registration closes: 1 November 2026
